The whole popcorn kernel is a particular variety of corn with a high hard-starch content that “explodes” through the hull when heated. It gives excellent popping results!!
Our tip is to cover the base of your saucepan with Olive Oil, throw in your popping corns – enough to cover the base of saucepan, and leave, with the lid on, on a medium heat for about 5 mins (checking regularly of course). Once the kernels have finished popping, grind over some salt, and eat… Yum!
